These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your access to and use of Chadak.
By creating an account or using Chadak, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required where you live) to use Chadak.
You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping access to your account secure. You must provide accurate account information and must not use Chadak to impersonate others.
We may require you to verify your email or otherwise verify your account.
Chadak is designed as a public social platform. Chads (voice posts), voice comments, and stories are public inside the app (stories expire after 24 hours). Do not chad content you do not want to be public.
Direct messages are intended for conversation participants. Regular DMs are NOT end-to-end encrypted - they are stored on our servers and protected by access controls. "Listen once" voice messages are end-to-end encrypted on your device before upload, and each recipient can play them one time.
You own the content you create and upload (including audio and text). However, you grant Chadak a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, and display your content in order to operate and improve the service. This includes creating and storing transcriptions so content can be searched.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload your content. Do not upload content you do not own or have permission to use.
Chadak Blue Check is an optional auto-renewable monthly subscription. The price is shown before purchase. On iPhone it is purchased through your Apple Account: payment is charged at confirmation, it renews each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, you can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. On chadak.com it is sold by our reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for these orders, which handles payment, tax and billing support; it renews each month until you cancel, you can cancel anytime from Settings → Blue check → Manage subscription, and refunds follow our Refund Policy and Paddle's Buyer Terms.
You must not use Chadak to do any of the following:
We aim to keep our rules clear and consistently enforced. We may remove content, restrict visibility, limit features, suspend accounts, or ban users if we believe there is a violation of these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
We may take action with or without notice where necessary for safety, integrity, or legal compliance.
You can report content and users inside the app. We may use automated systems and human review to process reports.
If your account is restricted or your content is removed, you may contact chadakhelp@gmail.com to request a review. We may not be able to respond to every request, but we will use reasonable efforts for serious issues.
Chadak relies on third party services to operate (including Firebase). Your use may also be subject to their terms.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error free.
Chadak is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chadak will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
